AGING WELL IS THE NEW THING

     United Methodist SBC21 Brings Awareness to National Healthy Aging Month

What comes to mind when you think about aging well? Is it a high quality of life as it relates to your independence? Or maybe it means you value being mentally intact; or could it be that having the mobility of your limbs? According to a recent CNN study, Americans will live longer – but in poor health!
The United Methodist Strengthening the Black Church for the 21st Century (SBC21) is observing National Healthy Aging Month with a 4-city tour entitled Build a Better You. The tour features a “Day Party with A Purpose”designed to bring awareness and resources to what it means to age well – mind, body and spirit. With stops in Atlanta, Birmingham, Houston and Dallas.
